Since taking over State Road Battery and Fabrics in January 2018, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our customers for your support. It’s been a joy serving our community and getting to know each of you!
Located at 15789 Old State Road in Middlefield, our business has deep roots. Originally established in the early 1980s as State Road Buggy Shop by Albert Miller (my grandpa), it began as a small buggy wheel supply store. The business evolved under my parents, Levi and Emma Sue Miller, who rebranded it as State Road Battery Pro in 1999 to focus on batteries. In 2007, we expanded to include fabric supplies, creating a beloved one-stop shop.
With my wife, Amy, and our six children, we were fortunate to keep this family business thriving. After 19 years in the cabinetry industry, I was nervous about this new venture, but the support from our community and mentors has been invaluable.
We’ve enhanced our store with improved displays and lighting for our fabrics and added a wide variety of new products, including doll accessories, essential oils, natural remedies, and much more.
As part of our commitment to better serve you, we’re collecting customer feedback through surveys. We value your input as we plan a remodel this fall to create an open floor plan and introduce new products just in time for the holidays. We’ll be closed for renovations from August 17 to 24, but we’re excited for what’s to come!
A special thank you to our dedicated team members, Betty and Cindy Miller, for their hard work and support.
Call us at 440-632-1846, and from our family to yours: “Thank you, and God bless you!”
