Heritage Meats, a well-known butcher shop in Harrington Square, Middlefield, is entering an exciting new phase. Effective late October 2025, ownership is transitioning to local livestock producer Mark Miller and agriculture-consulting expert John Kempf.
This shift represents more than a change in leadership—it marks the launch of a renewed vision for the business. Under the new team, Heritage Meats will broaden its focus beyond premium meats to become a full-service destination for staple, flavorful foods—including meat, eggs, dairy, flour and oils—selected first for exceptional taste and then for nutritional quality.
