Annual Geauga LOSS Team Fundraiser

On Friday, October 18, 2025, the Geauga County Historical Society is set to host the annual Geauga LOSS Team in the Leanna Bond Building in the Village of Burton, Ohio. The doors open at 6 PM. This much-anticipated yearly celebration offers an impressive array of activities designed to help the Geauga LOSS Teams’ grief support program. 21+ Adults only.
*Mission of the Geauga LOSS Team is to bring healing and hope to families affected by the traumatic loss of a loved one. Through advocacy, first responders and community support, we work to directly assist grieving families, community members, and the dedicated volunteers who walk beside them. *
For the adults: Join us for an unforgettable evening at our Gourmet Buffet, showcase your creativity in our exciting Costume Contest, where prizes will be awarded for the Best Costume, ensuring a night of fun and friendly competition. Dance the night away to vibrant music spun by our talented DJ, setting the perfect atmosphere for celebration.
Enjoy a variety of captivating entertainment throughout the evening, providing laughter and enjoyment for all attendees. Don’t miss our extensive selection of raffle baskets, each filled with luxurious items and unique experiences, offering you the chance to win big while supporting a great cause.

*Friends of Loss is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit volunteer-based organization that cultivates relationships to support survivors of tragic loss. We raise unrestricted funds through hosting outreach events and fundraising. All proceeds directly benefit survivors by providing educational curricula, books, and journals for weekly support groups; outreach and awareness booths; self-care kits; promotional items; website software; and much more. We provide Legacy Giving and Memorial Fund education, referrals, and resources throughout Geauga County. *
